Dr. James Okonkwo. Twenty-seven years on Main Street.

Opened Northside Family Health in 1998 after eight years at a hospital-employed group practice. The brief was simple: see fewer patients, see them longer, know them by name. Twenty-seven years later that's still the model.

Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine, 1990. Internal medicine + pediatrics residency at Rush, 1994. Board-certified in both. Lives three blocks from the clinic and walks to work most days.
